If Bjorn accepts the marquis proposal to kill Ho, Bjorn will technically lose a chess piece. Beak ho is the true meaning of a double edged sword. Ho will protect Bjorn from the Marquis faction without him having to be killed. Until we know what kind of actual sway he has from his past involvement while living in this world, other than being betrayed and what not. Hell, it could have been the Marquis that he was originally involved with.
In the end, he will support Bjorn to maximize his (Ho’s) benefits. At the same time, while being apart of Noark echelon, he holds a deciding factor on whether they target Bjorn in the future. They are already showing they can attempt assassinations on the Marquis.

well nice! i was close on my thoughts of how that conversation would go, there was alot more depth to it than i thought there would be, and seemingly alot more prep on the side of the marquis, but that did go down similar to how i thought. The killing Lee Baek Hoo part caught me off guard tbh, and im not sure if or when Bjorn would do so.
That conversation happening only to be followed by Baek Hoo popping in was great though. Im curious how much Baek Hoo heard, if he was in the manor, or just waiting outside. Depending on that, what happens next could be a simple conversation and Bjorn getting a bit freaked out, Or full on combat. Depending on if Baek hoo heard it all and takes things in bad faith
It seems more like forcing the A or B, Noark is full of evil spirits so the Marquiss is genuinely trying to turncoat one of their strongest.If bjorn sides with Baek Ho the royal family will get dumped in hot water, Noark gains a strong champion, a hero of the people defects etc.There's definitely some history between Baek Ho and the royal family we don't know, I hope we get some proper exposition from baek ho for that A or B choice that's coming up.

Also to admit to Bjorn about his son, he really is extremely adept at politics, using every card available to further his goals. i kinda forgor about the marquis son being a spirit , i hoped that our boy would have the marquis back the plan to incorporate them but yeah that won’t ever happen .
