  2. And we just sidestep the baekho / GM/ bjorn drama and button up for more power leveling that gets around the grind rules.

    Alright, let's go.

  3. Looks like this story is starting to lose quality. It's running the same plot line again and again where Bjorn leaves his team and comes back to some dumb consequences.

    1. I hope his team gives him an earful this time, not just Shabin

  5. I don't know if it's just because I binged a bunch of chapters but this is feeling rushed. It's starting to feel like we're about to get another time skip. Overall the quality of the novel has dropped significantly.

It makes zero freaking sense to hop through the portal with only the gm and not his fully kitted out party. The only reason that happened is because the author wanted him to join Baekhoโ€™s team, so we can get some background info on them.

Now it looks like he has a way of farming those super rare ingredients he needed to power up yet again. His growth is starting to feel unearned. All we need is for him to stumble into a hole or cave with powerful treasures and weapons. โ€œOh look a bunch of flasks with all the essences i need!โ€

It feels like the author is just going through the motions now.

    2. Tbh, I donโ€™t think it was the wisest move either, though it isnโ€™t without thought. Bjorn wanted to gather information from the GM on his backstory and insight on the former manager of Ghostbusters as a side quest on the journey to learn about the outside, and figured a buddy cop outing would be a good idea. I donโ€™t think he would have been able to get the GM to open up with his party around.I still think it would have been wiser to bring Amelia at least, since she has enough tsct to know when to be present and when to be scarce (for information gathering purposes). Still, I get the ideaEDIT: I also mentioned a few chapters back – I did a deep dive in forums on discussions from those who did the original read through, and they had a worse experience as they had many delays that the author attributed to health reasons. Still, many also felt like you, that the quality had gone down. Later, (not sure at which chap number) the author took an even longer break and then promised the quality would improve. Canโ€™t verify any of this, but itโ€™s what I gathered through the forums while trying to avoid any future story info. Glad at least we donโ€™t have to deal with the delays ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Holy crap, that explains it. Even he knew his writing was suffering. Do you know how the Korean audience felt about the doll thing?

        1. Oh man, saying they were not happy is an understatement. Most of the complaining posts I saw were about that or included it. Seeing how we all reacted in this community after that chapter, I wasnโ€™t surprised – though Iโ€™d be more surprised if I saw someone who really liked it. After that most of the complaints were regarding the delays and just a few on quality. There may have been more but I was desperately trying to avoid spoilers ๐Ÿ˜…

          1. I'm actually happy to hear that. It means he knows how he fucked up and can hopefully learn from that. If they were calling him out in real time, then there's a chance the story will improve. I'm hoping there was someone like me that was directly calling him out on his bullshit. It didn't just start to drop in quality when the doll incident happened, that's just when it became undeniable. As you all know I've been unhappy with the direction of the story ever since the big time skip. There have always been pacing issues, but those were minor compared to Bjornโ€™s character development. Anytime he rationalizes, there needs to be a reason why his character would do so. Consistency is key and each time we see him struggle we need to know why slowly gain insight each time he does. As I said, now it doesn't really matter why he's acting like such a little bitch. He's become a figurine marrying beta, and just like in real life, nobody cares why those losers do that not what their problems are. They're so far removed from society that no one can comprehend the choices they make nor empathize with the reasons that lead up to those decisions. He's just kind of a repulsive loser at this point

  6. Super powered team-up. Perfect for fighting upper level monsters of the labyrinth (but outside).

Also I guessed partially right: the mystery member of Baek Ho's team is a healer. Does that mean sheโ€™s a priest, or a mage healer? And if sheโ€™s a priestโ€ฆ is she a regular priest of a karui priest?

For the destroyed magic circle, I feel like thereโ€™s more to this storyโ€ฆ like maybe thereโ€™s someone else who is still outside. Question is, who were they trying to sabotage? Or was it just a coincidence?

    Canโ€™t wait for more XD
