  1. Bjorn here riding on Baek Ho's coattails – donโ€™t blame him though, the opportunity presented itself well. Now he just has to explain himself to the GM.

Cool little tidbit about the moment stats/abilities – wonder how Bjorn will complete his movement factor, especially since he no longer has the manticore essence. I kinda miss that leap-knockup combo he used to have.

Also, I wonder if this big monster is anything like Recardo in the basement?

  2. Quick theory wrap up since I've just binged:

    1. Raphdonia – the inner castle – exists in the past, we totally know the elf bjorn saw but as an old guy

    2. We have some big similarities to basement floor, the layout been similar to the dungeon, the boss appearing after a long time passes

    3. The GM studied under auril gavis / his master is the dude who did the cross dimensional magic bullshit. He straight up gave us the evil spirit origin story

    4. Baekho and Bjorn will kiss before the Arc ends (/j)

    5. We leaving early and we leaving OP AF, this is probably the build up for the group up vs the King Arc if that's the path we go

Author is pretty bad at numbers thousands of noark people died out here to the grim reaper? Per attack? After the Floor 7 war? After the siege on raphdonia? After starving from the siege at the start? Noark the primarily evil spirit gang? I don't think the OG game is that popular for that many evil spirits to have been Isekai'd. I'd buy it if it was fortnite lmao. Eating the monsters answers the food problem tho.

    1. Oh interesting takeโ€ฆ for #1 I was thinking this might be Erwin's younger siblings. Had a similar though for #2. For #3 I originally thought the same, but GM was an evil spirit before his master's experiments, and by the time he was managing the Ghostbusters community, i believe he already was well past this eventโ€ฆ (could be mistaken though)#4 and #5: 100%Also, I figure Baek Ho may have been exaggerating a bit with the numbers. Could be right though, could* be author mistake ยฏ\_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ

      1. For #3 the GM was questioned because he was listed as a subject in the experiments, we don't know when he was listed as a subject, we know his master approached him, kinda like what you'd do to see if your forbidden soul swap spell worked, Test waters for new knowledge, personality change etc etcI read it as him genuinely outing himself as an evil spirit or at least victim of the soul exchange magic (same thing in my books) in that conversation. We know the royal family knows the GM is an evil spirit, this explains why and how. He's definitely sus of bjorn. He believes 1 rumour about him, that would be the โ€œbjorn is an evil spirit" rumour yeah?2 or 3 Chapters back I think it was? For both of those grains.

  3. maybe the monster has a real body like the floor lords we seen in the tower also being called the grim reaper and lee baek ho not denying it we know for sure how strong it will be but it kind of seems like a janitor to kill the weak immune to most things but cant deal alot of dps and i wonder how smart the monsters outside the tower are compared to the ones inside the tower maybe similar to the ones the chief raised

    1. Could be split half and half with the basement monster, โ€œdying" to this guy could be how we re-enter the basement. Gotta raid it in both places simultaneously kill it? The noark invasion did line up pretty much right on the mark for the basement 1 floor boss showing up too.The author likes their bad computer metaphors, the grim reaper is the garbage collector / zombie thread killer, the basement floor is the heap that's waiting for memory to be freed, the basement floor floor boss is just freeing mem.

      1. Wouldn't we have seen the โ€œthousandsโ€ of Noark members in the basement if that was the case though? Could also be the author just winging it at this point since, as you pointed out, those numbers don't add up.

          1. I had always thought these bodies were from those who died in the labyrinth, as deaths were common among explorations. Could be on to something though

          2. Oh, I thought you meant they were teleportered there instead of dying. You meant the bodies were teleported there. But then how is the key to reenter the basement floor dying to that boss of only your lifeless body goes there lol?

          3. Bjorn has the proof of the basement floor so he might mcguffin it. He also had some corruption thing removed from him, boss may not even aggro or bjorn can actually harm it?I don't know, I'm speculating / hypothesising.

          4. I assumed the corruption that was removed was the control the king had over non-human races. I just automatically assumed that without even thinking about it honestly.

          5. They may have been teleported there actually, they weren't โ€œdead" or โ€œdecayingโ€ they were frozen, maybe failed some credentials check? There's probably some computer HW/SW metaphor the author is going for if it is this. They have been sprinkling them in alot more lately.

          6. They needed to be married to a doll in order to pass the credentials check ๐Ÿ˜‘

  4. if our boy manage to kill it it would mean that noark wonโ€™t have any reason to fight the royals and the explorers no ? unless another boss like him will appear โ€ฆ which could mean finally peace between the factions i guess ?

    1. Thatโ€™s a big if. Remember Bjorn almost died in the basement when fighting against that boss monster, if Saintred didnโ€™t send in the cavalry. Dungeon & Stone is a team game, he often reminds us, so unless they can figure out a way to cause damage, Bjorn is stick tanking for his dear life
