And is that what’s causing the gray outside the city? Also that means the world Bjorn thought was his real world while they were outiside the city was also an artificial dimension?

I like this theory. It would explain the rift below the castle and how they are able to use their powers “outside” the labyrinth, they simply never left it. It would also explain why evil spirits spawn in the castle town.I will add an additional theory here. I think the reason the 10th floor is off limits is because there’s 9.5 floor when leaving the 9th and it brings you underneath the castle. The king is likely a mid boss fight.
I think its more of an artificial/fabricated dimension – at least according to the theory I'm curating. I think those were the words Arta was about to say. The former king was looking for a way to become immortal and create a world with its own laws – i suspect like this was the motive for originally creating this world, but possible due to the power of origin being used up, it caused the current state of the world… maybe. Theres still so many missing pieces to the puzzle, like how the witch plays into it, if the king is the same king and why the world attacks him if hes out too long, what gavis’ true goal is, how karui plays into all this, and if there is a non-random purpose for the summoning of evil spirits. Oh and of course, what it really means to open the abyss gate – if that opens a portal to send ppl back to their original dimensions, or something else entirely… maybe access to the power of origin?Or… what if the labyrinth is the original world, and raphdonia is the labyrinth? Lol that would really mess me up…
Don't forget Karui felt silent outside the walls ! Maybe Raphodonia is a labyrinth and outside the walls is the real world trying to reject the labyrinth (with the grey fields and the monster)?
