Even if short term wise it might be a small power up, it is still a strong loss since a better version of this essence (the guardian one from the 8th floor rift, the city of light) already exists and they could have farmed it later, while the custom essence was invaluable since only available on B1, not reliably farmable, and specially crafted to only get benefits, worth at least as much as a level 2 essence according to Bjorn’s own words last chapter.
They will reveal the passive and active effects next chapter. I’m still pissed regardless at Bjorn. Should have held out for himself and his possibly warped essence. By now, Bjorn should know to have her repeat the information back to him because she’s purposely stupid.
In the short term it’s a good trade but in the mid-long term, it’s a massive set back. They can always kill the level 2 monster in the future and get the essence that way or even receive it as a reward/ trade but now she lost the moded broken essence and kept the essence that needs to be replaced still regardless.
I hope he holds her accountable regardless of the 2nd tier essence pick. He made that essence for her to counteract the -100 fighting spirit from her Hipramagentessence.

essences normally comes with a limit on actives vs passives. The only way I see this being a good swap after reading your comment, would be maybe her essence is like a true essence, with all 3 of each potential titanus options stacked in one. If that happens then we’re talking jackpot. If not then yea this was a waste
Those are guardian essences, the rainbow ones. The color determines the abilities in the essence, and rainbow/guardian essences contain all the possible options. That’s why when Bjorn got the guardian Vampire essence, he had all those abilities.

Yep yep! AND its a guardian essence so she likely got a number of abilities.One which returns the projectile thrown, and makes it hit harder each time.Another which throws the projectile in the air and duplicates it.I think there was a lifestyle ability too, if I’m not mistaken.Only Aynar would get even more rewards for not listening to Bjorn, lolEdit: I stand corrected, its not a guardian :(. They ran into the rift guardian variant in the basement and got Aynars spear from it. (Bjorn is gunna shit himself when he realizes what she got 🤣)
I believe this one is not a guardian essence, but just an essence of Titanus. The rift guardian Titanus they ran into was a named monster “Milayel” or something like that, and at the time Bjorn had said it would be harder to fight a normal Titanus because it wouldn’t have certain restrictions that the rift guardian had in terms of phases and attack patterns. I have a feeling that next chapter will further elaborate if this is any worse or potentially better than the guardian kind
Both of hers were bruiser builds with a buff for spear users, from what I remember. One ability had a stat buff after 10 attacks, another had an attack buff for piercing attacks, and both had defense increases.
