  1. Now he loses in tanking ability (or let’s say it becomes better against level 3 or weaker monsters who lack in damage to beat his regeneration, but worsens against higher-tier monsters who can pour out enormous amounts of damage with basic attacks but most of all special abilities that can now incapacitate him in one shot, so considering the floors he’s targeting it’s a loss (and I’m not even talking about pain resistance reduction which is extremely detrimental to tanks) ) and all he gains in return is some damage that will never amount to what a true damage dealer like Erwin can do, and contradicts with the team-game setup of dungeon and stone where each character should fulfill his role to the best of his abilities, something that has been emphasized since the very beginning, and healing was meant to be handled by a priest. As an essence, overall feels like a waste of an essence slot to me and even a small power down which does not align with bjorn end-game vision and team-based philosophy, but as a floor essence it simply is a disaster when imagining what a proper tank floor Lord essence could have done for him. To me, natural regen is for lower floors when you don’t have access to priests, and the 50% true damage taken is a catastrophy.

  2. The true damage absolutely ruins him, now what is the point of all his physical resistance and magic resistance. I don’t see how with 50% true damage he will even be able to tank basic attacks from high level monsters knowing he currently has over 750 physical resistance, it doesn’t make sense. Even though enduring a loss to Baekho is annoying, the fact he even considered consuming it is extremely irritating. Not mentioning the fact that now the passive from aegis armor is rendered useless since it overlaps with the floor essence’s passive. Plus, I was so hyped for the intended floor Lord’s fight and essence but now we won’t ever see the full fledged shield baba, or it simply won’t make sense mathematically.

Bjorn not thinking for even a second about why baek-ho, a person who has close to the EXACT SAME KNOWLAGE he has, is shoving a vial close enough for him to reach of the one kind he cannot remove(unless he took it from the pilgrim himself probably). And didn’t for a second think he may have known what abilities it held and would ruin his current build…. kinda ruined this part of the story imo I agree with nunna that this feels forced and like a cop out of the intended essence

  5. The decision is way too emotional and unrational. Even if it ends up helping him down the road due to twisted and un-foreseeable events only Gavis could predict thanks to the Record Stone, taking this essence now feels completely out of character for Bjorn IMO. It adds to the necessity of plot armor to justify the choice later with previously hidden benefits to this essence, making it feel completely forced, I really don’t like this development.

  6. At first, i thought Beak Ho was just BS-ing, but seems he really did do that to fulfill an Auril- based prophecy.

I guess fate had that essence destined for Bjorn, but he wouldn't have taken it unless it was to steal it from his enemyโ€ฆ crafty.

    1. This makes the whole thing I mentioned earlier about unlikely events occurring all together even worse. A dimensional collapse is unpredictable yet somehow Baek-Ho was able to end up on the same floor as Bjorn when he needed to.

      1. I donโ€™t think he planned for that – i think it was more serendipitousโ€ฆ more like auril said, if you see X do Y.Its possible he triggered the summon to try to activate it anyway, but doubt he'd be able to orchestrate all that
